Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Work Tasks:

1. Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN/Wireless LAN equipment and related services
2. Design, install and configure the entire Active network, Wireless and Wired Network Infrastructure of the project.
3. Troubleshooting and problem solving of structured cabling systems.
4. Research Network monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting.
5. Keep external and internal stakeholders updated about project deliverables.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non­technical audiences including customers, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
7. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
8. Required to travel from time to time
9. Fluent English both verbal and written
10. Fluent Arabic both verbal and written (is advantage)

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of Network configuration (L2&L3 protocols) – is a must.
2. Knowledge of Switching and routing fundamentals (Cisco, HP/Aruba) – is a must.
3. Knowledge of Wireless LAN configuration (Cisco, Ruckus and HP/Aruba) – is a must.
4. Knowledge on how to prepare passive and active Wi-Fi Heatmap – is a must.
5. Knowledge of IPTV fundamentals and Multicast.
6. Knowledge of Passive structured cabling systems.
7. Strong inter-personal skills.
8. Good Communication & Report Writing Skills.
9. Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
10. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required
11. Knowledge of IT service management principles would be beneficiary.
12. 2-3 years of experience in a networking position.
13. MCSE, CCNA and CCNP certificates (is a must)
14. Previous experience in Hospitality & Hotels industry (is a must)

Technician

The candidate must have minimum 2 years’ experience of Installing different kind of low current devices such as IPTV/MATV, Lighting Control, Public Addressing System, Access Control, Telecommunication System, Telephony system, Parking Control System, BMS, Gate Barriers and passive infrastructure (fiber and copper)

Required Skills:

1. Dish installation setup
2. Amplifiers, Splitters/Switches Installation, Signal setup
3. Technical knowledge known for Triax, Televis and Alcad Brand
4. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Installation of new passive infrastructure (Fiber & UTP), Cable Splicing …etc., and perform maintenance on existing cables (it’s a must).
5. Installation of Active equipment (Switches, Servers, FWs …etc.)
6. Installation of Wi-Fi equipment (Cisco, Aruba/HP, Ruckus) – is a must
7. Installation of IPTV/MATV, Lighting Control, Public Addressing System, Access Control, Telecommunication System, Telephony system, Parking Control System, BMS and Gate Barriers

1. Previous experience in Hospitality & Hotels industry (is a must)
